Origin Parts/Spares

I have various Origin systems/parts available at the moment, including Origin200, Origin300 (soon Origin350) and Origin3000; here are some example configurations, grouped by system (see after the tables for full details). Use price differences between listed systems to calculate alternative configurations, or contact me for a quote.

Origin350:

Origin200 (without skins; this is ideal for stacking on top of something else, or to allow the top of the unit to be used as a storage surface):

All Origin200 systems come with a free 32X CDROM already fitted.
Add 50 to include basic skins (includes front panel but no front flap).

Origin3000:


Origin3000 C-Brick, Quad-600MHz (8MB L2 per CPU), 2GB RAM: 750 UKP  (030-1604-00x + 2 x 030-1734-00x)
Origin3000 P-Brick (12 PCI slots expansion): 750 UKP

All systems come with a full 6.5.30m installation. I can customise the system settings as required (host name, IP address, gateway, DNS, etc.) to make installation easier.

See the Origin section on the Parts/Spares page for a full list of extras, and remember that many SCSI options for Octane (eg. internal DAT drives) can also be used in Origin.

I have various SCSI cables available for OriginVault units, or for Origin systems fitted with extra SCSI card(s), including VHDCI cables. See the SCSI Items page for details.

See the shipping costs page for details of postage charges to the UK, mainland Europe and beyond. A typical shipping cost for an Origin200 would be 25 UKP for a UK destination (by PF48) and around 30 to 90 UKP for a mainland European destination. Alternatively, a personal collection is welcome; I live in Edinburgh, Scotland. Note that the shipping costs may be higher for a system with many disks due to the extra weight, ie. I might have to use two boxes.
