The above specs are not fixed; email me for alternative configurations and prices.
Unless otherwise stated, all systems come with a 30 day cover. If extended cover is required, here is a costs table:
Extend to 60 days: +10% Extend to 90 days: +20% Extend to 6 months: +30% Extend to 1 year: +40%
For an extra disk with sled, select the disk required from the SCSI Disks Table and add the current cost of a sled plus the cost of a 50/68/80 combo adapter from the SCSI Items page. IRIS Indigo can have three internal disks.
Note I can also supply ZuluSCSI solutions, but these cost a lot more as they are very time consuming to sort out (email for details).
By default, none of the systems above come with keyboard or mouse (these
are priced separately, as is the connecting
cable). Also, none of them have front door flaps (they do of course have
the main front panel though); door flaps are available separately aswell.
All systems have a few scratches, though better condition cases may be
available on request.
The default system disk is a Seagate 36GB 15K disk with a 50/68/80pin SCSI adapter.
R3K systems normally have IRIX 5.3 with XFS installed; R4K systems have IRIX 6.5.22m installed, though I can install 6.2 instead if preferred, and will do so if the RAM is 64MB or less. R4K systems with 6.5.22m have the same full installation I do for Indy or Indigo2 systems, eg. a typical installed software list in swmgr would look much like this. For R3K systems, I've also spent a lot of time constructing a good installation with as much software installed as possible. Media is not included, but I can supply a CDR set for extra (email for details).
See the shipping costs page for details of postage charges to the UK, mainland Europe and beyond.
Note that Entry graphics has a max resolution of 1024x768 with 8bit colour and is not suitable for 3D tasks, but it does at least have both types of monitor output socket (SGI 13W3, plus the PC-type HD15). Also be aware that XS systems without a Z buffer board may not be able to run certain 3D applications (certainly some standard SGI demos cannot run if the Z board is not present).
I've spent a lot of time reorganising these Indigos, taking them completely apart for a thorough cleaning, but also moving parts around so that functional components are in the better-condition chassi, creating good disk installations (eg. 5.3 with applications, IDO, patches, XFS update, freeware, etc.)
