NB: by definition I can't include feedback comments from people who collected in person, or those cases where I delivered in person, and most commercial companies don't tend to reply in any personal way when buying something. Suffice to say there are many other happy buyers out there besides those mentioned on these feedback pages. :)

I doubt there is a postal service on this planet that can do damage to that! You also provided my kid with hours of entertainment, playing with the packaging left-overs... Including the setup instructions were really helpful - I've got the base system setup up (basesel64 - thanks) and will move on to the developer system next. You're service is as good as your packaging. ... Kind regards Abraham
Mint maxed-out IRIS Indigo (R4K/150, 384MB RAM, 2 x 36GB 15K dual-boot
5.3/6.5.22, Elan), keyboard, mouse and manuals sent to France:
From: "Mathieu JOB" <gandalf57@orange.fr> Date: Wednesday, November 17, 2010 7:41 PM Hello Ian, The Indigo1 is arrived today, very quickly ! I was not present at this moment but the carrier has hidden the big packet in a good place. Hopefully, all is in good shape. [later...] How can I start... Once again and like always, the packaging was amazing, all is arrived in perfect condition. Many thanks for the owners and Irix guide, the Ram and the two HDD's with 6.5 and 5.3 ! These HDD's are excellent, modern and quiet. The keyboard and the mouse are in very good shape and they where very confortable (much more than the 4D mouse....) The Indigo1 is fantastic, much quiet than expected and very responsive. Build quality is awesome and the skin is in great shape. I think I can spend many hours to test all these demo and programs on this complete Irix 5.3 installation. Now I know why this machine is a must have for a SGI fan. I can only thank you for this new transaction. Best regards JOB Mathieu
R12K/300 O2 and 1600SW display sent to Sweden:
From: "Richard Bygdin" (contact me if you'd like to talk to Richard) Date: Monday, November 8, 2010 7:38 PM Hi Ian! The O2 has arrived safely! And it looks absolutely beautiful! I'm not surprised it survived shipping since you must single-handedly be keeping the Edinburgh packing-material industry in business with packages like that. Everything was extremely well packed. Also, thanks a lot for the extras and the CPU, memory and HDD upgrades! I didn't expect all that. Didn't notice the memory upgrade until my fourth or fifth hinv. And the O2 Cam!?!? Wow. I'm speechless. Fortunately, not wordless, haha, so I can at least write THANKS!!! :) I started it up in the lab at work and everything I've tested so far works perfectly. ... Thanks again Ian, for this great O2! /Richard
Top lid for O2 sent to the USA (visually mint, but no catch, so half price):
From: "Aaron James Rogers" <mail@aaronjamesrogers.com> Date: Saturday, October 23, 2010 2:14 PM Ian, Received your package yesterday. I was trying to figure out how to cut it open, then realized you had drawn dashed lines across the edges to be cut. That brought a smile to my face - forget SGI sales, you should start a shipping company! Will try the velcro trick for the top cover. Thanks very much! [later...] Yes, you're more than welcome to add my comments to your feedback page, in fact I'm honored! I applied a couple of strips of adhesive-backed velcro to the blue plastic support bar across the top of the system, and the opposite sides to the underside of the top lid, and it sticks quite well. This little 180MHz O2 is ready to go - thanks Ian! Aaron
R12K/300 O2 sent to England:
From: "Robert Fielding" >rf@tamasi.org< Date: Wednesday, October 6, 2010 7:50 PM And it arrived !! Amazing. Thanks. And a mouse mat, cute! A slice of retro 90s! I'll frame that for the wall ;) The owners manual was a nice touch too. I've only had a quick look, but blender works great, demos look good. And it's snappy quick too. Electropaint is my favourite screensaver and runs really well - much better than the xscreensaver rip off 'stonerview' - you swear you can see the gfx quality compared to an nvidia pc. [later...] Thanks again for supplying this O2 unit in such great package. Not only that but all the installed software, freebies and a very helpful README. A first rate sale.! Very interesting looking through the Birth of O2 and the artist renderings and vrml cosmo flythroughs. Quite inspiring. Not sure what's going on with Egghead and those sound effects but my girlfriend loves it! Anyways thanks again. I'm a happy customer :)

From: "Stefanos Vizikidis" <svizikidis@gmail.com> Date: Friday, August 20, 2010 1:18 PM Dear Ian, Octane was delivered harmless and beutiful. The suprise came from the nice little upgrades (cpu, hdd) but the most beautiful was the nice IRIX installation you have done with all these goodies. Discussing with you was a pleasance and my next prurchase from you is coming in a while as i am now addicted to SGI !!! Thank you very much Stefanos
