Key (all GPU clocks are given as 'Core/Shader/RAM' or 'Core/Boost/RAM'; a single number refers to just the core clock): RX 580 = PowerColor Red Devil RX 580 8GB, default 1190/2000 core/RAM. CPU usage was about 55% for a 4GHz 2700K and 780 Ti with all threads active. I've excluded the Max fps numbers since they were typically very high but all over the place, probably too susceptible to exactly when Afterburner logging is started with F7 and ended with F8. Intriguing that, with a 1080 Ti, the 6850K beat the 5600X (I think because Win10 hurts avg performance a little), though the latter has far better percentage lows. Note the 5600X is my actual gaming system, not a benchmark rig, hence why it's running with a 75W power limit on the CPU (and also why there are no 1440p results for this config yet, because mt TV is only 1080p). Between doing the 4GHz and 5GHz 2700K tests with the 780 Ti at 1440p, installing some other game updated the drivers to 411.70, so perhaps the speed difference might ordinarily be smaller or larger than this, who knows. Either way, at least with a 2700K, CPU speed doesn't seem to matter much (all threads were loaded, but none that high). MLLR seems to be very GPU dependent. Maybe CPU performance will matter more for models with no SMT or fewer than 4 cores. Testing the dual XEON 2650 system with Win10 hurt avg fps just a little, but greatly improved the 1% and 0.1% Lows. Turning NUMA off for the Win10 system didn't make much difference (generally slightly better). Overall, although Win10 gave lower sligthly averages, the Lows are much better so even with DX11 it's clear Win10 is best for this game for dual XEON systems. This is probably due to better thread scheduling in the OS or better GPU drivers. However, for single CPU systems like the i7 870, Win10 does improve the Lows but it can certainly hurt avg performance, though the frame rates are so high this doesn't matter much anyway. One curious observation with the Win10 i7 870 config btw is that I had stability problems running this test with Win7 but not with Win10.
