See after the tables for various observations. I've read that Hitman 2 always produces bad Lows, even with the very latest CPUs. CPU usage was about 50% or less with the 2700K @ 4GHz and a 780 Ti. The Q9550 though definitely holds back an RX 580, the CPU is always maxed out while the GPU frequently downclocks. Something I noticed about the dual XEON 2640 Kllisre setup which doesn't happen with other games, the threads seem stuck to the primary CPU. Even turning off HT doesn't result in any game threads moving to the 2nd CPU; infact with HT off the game simply spawns fewer threads. This is rather odd, it's as if the game has been coded such that it completely ignores the presence of the 2nd CPU. Hence, it doesn't benefit from the additional threads at all, which is a shame. I thought this might be due to using Win7 and/or DX11, but testing with Win10/DX11 and Win10/DX12 made no difference (lower avg with Win10/DX12 at 1080p/LOW of 62.5), though it did improve the lows (1% Low of 34.3m 0.1% Low of 16.4). It's likely other games will behave differently though. Also note that Win10 was in general a lot less stable for running the game, most of the time the benchmark would fail to start (selecting Exclusive Fullscreen instead of Fullscreen sometimes helped, but not always), infact I was only able to run the test at 1080p/LOW with Win10.
